We had a work Christmas party today and they had a photo booth which was lots of fun.

I figure even though I didn't technically take the photo myslef it still counts as my photo of the day.

Photo Challenge Day 7

Here's our little Christmas Tree....

Aaron is structured as anything so it all had to fit together just right. Nothing could be out of place and everything had to be evenly spread.

it looks nicer with it's lights on but i took this photo in the middle of our black out so i was happy enough that there was enough natural light at least.

Photo Challenge- Day 6

Presents

I finally wrapped the last of the presents that needed to be posted. So they will all be sent off today and then that's all done.

Now I just have to wrap all the presents for under the tree....*phew*

Photo Challenge- Day 5

So as I mentioned in the last post my little Polaroid Instax Camera is saving me with this photo challenge.

So here is the photo for Day 5-

Corn

Aaron was asleep this afternoon and as he is the usualy cook I decided to start to get dinner ready.

I don't think I've ever peeled corn before but it was surprisingly fun!

Polaroid Love!

For our Anniversary this year Aaron was uber sweet and got me this amazing Instax Polaroid Camera.

I would never call myself an photographer. I have no idea about settings, shutter speed, light or anything else. But I do LOVE taking photos. And there's something I absolutely love about these polaroids. The fact that they're not so clear and a bit grainy and just have that vintage look about them makes my heart melt.

The only problem is because the film isn't so cheap or easy to find I sometimes am a little stingy on my photo taking with that. But I just need to get over that because as you may have noticed...I'm in love with them.

So...here are a few I've taken since I got the camera.

Of course Boris has to do the model over the shoulder pose. Which I'm glad he did because I was worried I'd waste a shot on him moving around.

A shot of the Opera House...well probably more a shot of the tourists near the Opera House but you get the idea.



I just love it and it's saving me during this time where my other little camera has decided to die during my photo a day challenge.


I guess i'd better get some more film so I can keep snapping.

Well we're having a slight problem with my photo a day challenge.

It seems that my little camera I take everywhere with me has died....which is an issue.

I can always use my big camera at home it just isn't as easy to take around everywhere.

So hopefully I can get it fixed soon or I'll just have to lug big heavy around with me all the time.

So until there's another photo update here's a photo from last week. We invited some friends around to have a Viking Party. It all started that we found these massive turkey legs in the supermarket and thought it would be fun to try them. Then the idea just snowballed that we would eat everything whole and not use cutlery (even for the mashed potato).

Now I have a weird thing about touching food with my hands so I didn't think I'd cope too well. But once I kind of took a deep breath and just went for it it wasn't so bad.

We drank out of goblets and laughed big hearty laughs.

Dinner parties are just more fun with themes.

Photo Challenge- Day One

Well today I start my challenge over at 43 things to take a photo everyday for a month. I've kicked it off by taking a photo of my feet in lovely new sandals and a quick coat of nail polish I gave it this morning.

I figure this challenge should be kinda easy coz I take photos all the time and always have my camera on me. And I'm finding I take more than one photo which is good.
